Crap tides posed a problem for where to sail today on my Wednesday afternoon off work. I deliberately wasted some time by checking out Hove and Littlehampton which both looked high tide rubbish. Eventually settled on the cafe and once I had finally launched conditions were good. Plenty of breeze plus some suprisingly half decent waves that very usable in the cross-shore wind direction. Even on my crap-in-mush Quatro I scored a fair few solid frontside lip smacks then backside cut back combos - which would have been seriously good on a Witchcraft...

Before long it got very windy and soon I was mega-stacked. Should really have been on smaller but I couldn't be arsed to change down and suffer the Worthing rockfest walk of pain. So I hung on until the falling tide made the waves disappear which removed the point of having to suffer the mega gusts and not being able to hang on to the outside gybes. Even so, a good session overall - could have been really good if I'd rigged 4.5 from the start.
